    Manager said he resigned!

Not sure if McGivern would have had a gun pointed to his head!

"And I believe I am leaving the club in a stronger position than when I joined.".

Hmm wonder where Mcgivern has heard that before..

And when Ryan McGivern misjudged a header to his goalkeeper, Wilbraham rounded Chris Neal to seal a fourth consecutive win for the visitors.
Nope I guess he never...but certainly he made his mark

Promised so much when he joined Hibs and delivered so little. Poor player.

McGivern mis-judged a header which cost his team a goal, just like his dreadful careless pass out of defence against Hamilton Accies.

The one thing he must not do that day, i.e. gift Hamilton an early goal to give them hope, and he goes and does just that. Every player can make a mistake, but he seems to be making a habit of it.

Like so many modern defenders he was better (I didn't say good) at getting forward and supporting play on the wing than he was at defending.

If only he was half as good as he thought he was.

I doubt he is the sole reason for the sacking but he's a player with a shocking attitude which may have contributed to his latest clubs shocking run of from. He must have one of worst win rates in football in the last 12 months

I thought a defenders job was defend and there lay the problem with McGivern.

He couldn't tackle, ball watched and caught out of position regularly.

He thought he was something he wasn't IMHO and his attitude stank on the pitch.

Glad he's gone. Id rather we had one of the young lads in than players like McGivern.
