Forster was driving force behind Dumbarton turnaround and one of the few who was busting a gut against Alloa. That coupled with his goal threat and the fact he is right footed is why he gets in ahead of Fontaine in my team.

I think you're giving him too much credit for his role in that game.

A lot of people have picked McGeouch and Allan to sit in front of the back 4 in a 4-2-3-1 style, but they're both attack-minded players. I'd have Robertson in there instead, not on form because he's been pretty rank recently but because it suits him more than the other 2.
That being said, i'd be going for a 4-4-2 of:
Oxley
Gray
Hanlon
Forster/Fontaine (haven't seen Fontaine yet so undecided)
Booth
McGeouch
Stanton
Allan
Kennedy
Malonga
Cummings
Still lacks bite in the middle but plenty creativity... on paper.

Think both McGeogh and Malonga will start instead of Handling and Heffernan
I would go
Oxley
Gray
Forster
Fontaine
Booth
Mcgeogh
Allan
Sinclair
Cummings
Kennedy
Malonga
Keep out as many of last years failures as possible
Subs
Penetrau
Hanlon
Robertson
Craig
Stanton
Harris
Handling
However think Stubbs will keep faith with his Captain (unfortunately) and will go
Oxley
Gray
Forster
Fontaine
Stevenson
Allan
Craig
Stanton
McGeogh
Kennedy
Malonga

Reason no new boys start? Because I've not seen them play so can't say for sure they're any better than what we have. I hope they are!

Some good combinations but don't want Craig anywhere near the team however know fine well that the club Capt will prob be first on the team sheet.
This will probably not be popular but why not play Lewis in front of back 4 and play 4-1-4-1
Oxley
Gray (Capt) Fontaine Hanlon Booth
Lewis
Harris Allan McGeoch Kennedy
Malonga
Just a thought

im no AS but this is my team to get us going back up the table
fitness and injuries will decide,
playing a 3-4-1-2
Oxley
Forster Hanlon Fontaine
Gray McGeough Craig Kennedy
Stanton
Malonga Sinclair
No doubt it will be totally wrong
Hopefully whatever the team is its a winning 1. at least now AS can finally play a team that he can say is his TEAM....

Fancy a goal feast against Cowdenbeath on Saturday. Let's face it, they're not up to much, are they?

Two creative players and you want them as defensive midfielders.
