You select one team each week but can't choose that team again throughout the season.

I've chose my eagles to beat the Jags at home to start.

    Hope you'll all get involved.

I'll try my best to answer any questions.

Looking at the game most people are going with the eagles, would be seriously disappointed if they dont beat the jags at home!

Would also mean that (almost) everyone is out immediately. :)

I have never played this game before but here is my take on a strategy. Rather than picking the team that is most heavily favoured to win, pick a team that you think might win THIS week but is unlikely to win many / any other games. If you keep picking the favourites then eventually you will run out of good teams to pick (you can only pick each team once a season) and you might end up having to pick a weaker team that doesn't have a favourable match up that week.

yeah that's my plan, despite some outrageous calls from ex pros I think the eagles will scrape the division and I'm quite happy to use them right away. So many teams I'd want to keep ahead of them.

You've allowed ties to be counted as wins - all those that chose da Bears get a pass into week 2!

I chose the Bears and I'm showing as 'Out' with no pick available for next week

I'm the only one! Everyone else who chose them showing as 0-0 and still in? WTF?

I presume 'tie' must be at the end of OT as all of us who selected Chicago are showing as out.

That makes sense. A game is only a tie after OT.
