    Memories

I at least have the memories of the years gone bye when it was a pleasure to turn up at ER, with its huge open terraces, and see some fantastic teams, and players, Tommy Younger; John Grant; Joe Baker, Wullie "One Fit" Ormand, Bobby Johnston, Eddie Turnbull, Gordon Smith, Arthur Duncan, Neil Martin, Ronnie Simpson, wee Johnny McLeod, Davie Gibson, my local Winchburgh neighbour, Jim Scott, John Brownlee, Pat Stanton and oh so many more who entertained us. My grandson however, a season ticket holder, unfortunately does not yet have such fantastic memories but only our dismal performances over the past 10 years or so to draw on. Stick with it Aaron. I was an early 80s kid so while Hibs were mainly garbage (some things never change) the thrill of going to ER and away games was always there.

It was cheap as chips to get in, you could wander all over the place and if it rained try to sneak past the stewards to get under cover in the coo shed.

    Bring back the old days
