El Hassnaoui is quoted in today's Scotsman. This is what (part of) the article says:
"I think we and Rangers have to do it", the 24 year old from the Netherlands said. "One of us - and we will be the one. I don't think Hibs have enough quality to do it. In the first half against us they played well, but I think we have more quality than Hibs and so do Rangers. So I think it will be between us".
Who is this guy? I've never heard of him until now. What has he won? When did he become an expert on Scottish Football?
I'm glad he's mouthing off to the papers. Let's see what happens.

If Sevco get docked 25 points - looking increasingly likely - they won't be at the races.

Long way to go and think Hibs will come good. I for 1 think it's fair enough Hearts and their players think they are going to stroll the league.
One look on here would have half the support backing us for promotion and the other half having us toiling and some even thinking we will struggle to stay up.

Happy that he feels that way, it will be great to see Hibs wipe that smug grin off him at the end of the season

After three games, I think he's being a bit premature. The early signs are good for them and they look stronger than us but I think I'll reserve judgement until we are 12-15 games into the season before deciding how many horses are in the race.
As things stand, I would accept that they are likely to finish above us. They are better prepared, with their squad having been assembled early (at no little expense - I think there is more money sloshing around Tynecastle than Budge has ever let on). Our squad is still being assembled, we're still a bit leaky at the back and still not showing a clinical edge up front but I think that will improve.
However, so far (IMO), Stubbs has been true to his word in saying that additions will be quality, improving our pool, not simply filling shirts. We're Deadline day will probably have a significant say in how much stronger we will become.
One further point - in recent years our Gorgie chums have a habit of getting themselves up for big games but being less effective against lesser opposition. I'll be interested to see how long they can maintain their current swagger.
Like I say, very early days, and the signs are good for them so far, but this season has a long long way to go.

Yet another example of hearts teaching their players to hate hibs as soon as they join. I'm astonished he's had so much time to study our games and form this opinion...
Let's do our talking on the pitch for once hibs and wipe the smug grin off his ugly pus.

I don't think either of the three are very good, but Rangers and Hearts are a bit further down the road than us in terms of team building. I still fancy us to be top three. Unless the Huns get a points deduction, they will win the league, due to the decisions going their way in games. I've always fancied us to start slow and sneak third, then do the Jambos in the play-offs. I'd quite like that, especially in Hearts were 20 points ahead of us. Oh, how they would moan.

Boy is quite right, the league is a two horse race, Hibs and Servco. The rest are fighting for 3rd.

Hearts are scoring for fun and have a 100% league record so far. We're struggling away to a part-time team.
How come people are criticising the guy for stating the obvious?

They at least can back up their claim with some substance by beating teams comfortably, scoring goals, keeping clean sheets and winning 3 points.
On the other hand we have a bunch of soft centred losers who pose no threat to anyone, part time or otherwise, and we can't keep a clean sheet to save ourselves.
We are a terrible football team and have been for far too long, the damage done is deep rooted and we'll be well off the pace for the foreseeable future until we've got rid of all the spineless losers that got us relegated last term.
There's absolutely no desire or belief at Easter Road and we are a fechin shambles!!"The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it" - George Bernard Shaw.

I'd probably agree.
Highest Hibs will finish is 4th.

Can't really argue with the guy tbh. Hibs are nowhere near good enough to be promoted from this league.

If we get anywhere near the top 3 with the current squad I'd be very very surprised.
