Do the players going on loan have any say as to where they go on loan or can they just turn around and say I'm not going there, I'm wanting to go there or nowhere at all.
I suppose they can say they want to stay and fight for a place in the team, but if the manager wants you out and there's no chance of game time there agent will try to work a deal for the client to go to a club of there choice depending if the club can agree to pay what celtc ask for.

Or the players could sit tight and hope that the manager gets sacked and is replaced by someone who might play them.

That was my thinking SH, Griffiths is a home boy and has his kids who he adores, Celtic was an easy option for him at the time as he missed them and he was able to still live in Edinburgh, he'll like what's been happening with Stubbs and the players already in ( Gray, Allan, Fontaine, El Alagui ) the passing football and the chance to be a hero at his beloved Hibs again and get them promotion, especially at the expence of Hearts and The Rangers.

Everything our end is apparently all sorted. All that's left is Celtic to give the green light.

I'd be happy with Stokes as well, as a back up striker.

Won't be many new season tickets now but crowds will go up, the half season tickets may go up though.

I'm trying hard not to get excited about the prospect of LG returning, but failing miserably. This would be a season-changing coup.

As posted before, heard this from a couple of trusted sources and it was interesting that Delia said before the CL game that a couple would be going out on loan... Could this mean Griffiths. I certainly believe that Hibs have made moves.

This would add to the season tickets and also the walk up fans, especially if we started scoring for fun and winning games .....

He wants a high pressing game at Celtic and both Commons and Stokes are a bit lazy that way, Leigh's different just isn't liked ny Collins seemingly and also not by their wonderful fans.
This is EXACTLY what I heard about on Monday.... Put it down to the old chuneeze whispers and also it wouldn't be the 1st time my ITK "pal" had it wrong!

Fingers crossed there's summat in it after all!

    Ya dancer!

Do you know if it is definitely a loan deal that has been discussed, or is there any chance of us paying a fee and signing him permanently?

Ha ha, exactly how I feel. Haven't been this hyper about a Hibs signing since we brought Deeks back from Celtic.

It's the boost the club and supporters need, I've been impressed by Stubbs despite some disappointing results and think he could be just the man to get the best out of Leigh.
