    Best National Anthem?

    I was listening to the Colombian one when I was driving down to Preston on Wednesday.

    I ended up driving a full 15 mph faster than I had intended to. It's great.

    No wonder we keep losing. Flower of Scotland is a dirge.

    And as for GSTQ...

    Love the Italian one just for the sheer passion the players show when singing it. Buffon often looks like his eyes are about to pop out his head when he gets going.

    Am I right in thinking Putin changed the Russian anthem back to the old USSR anthem (with new lyrics) a few years back because it was more inspiring to athletes before competing. Sure it's quite a divisive issue in Russia.

    Any foreigner who has an opinion on anthems will rave about Flower of Scotland.

    I personally like those of Germany and France (in that order).
