That's a good signing for County.

I thought we should have gone for a Cardle a few years ago (possibly when he was still with Dunfermline). Not seen much of him since then but always looked like someone who would have been a steady, reliable winger for an SPL club.

Seen him so often with Dunfermline and Raith and think he's average. Not an spl player. Nice guy though.

Came across as a mouthy wee c*** at ER this season in the cup. Don't know him personally but he certainly never seemed like a nice guy.

I'd have to agree on this one -he comes across as a very unlikeable character on the pitch in the games I've seen. Having said this we tend to have likeable guys that don't always do their job. Still maintain we need a strong captain.

Just going from when my we boy used to do training camps at pitreavie where Dunfermline train. He used to allways have time to talk to the kids.

I reckon wingers by their nature blow hot and cold and he seemed to me to be typical of that. On his day excellent and on other days very poor.

That said it's a position we've strugged with in recent years so I reckon he might have done well for us. He can beat a man and get a cross in so I dare say James Collins would benefit from having someone like him in the team.

We could do with signing him then. We have a team full of nice guys. Let's fill the team with animals....

Surprised they let him go - offers creativity and pace. Probably reckon they've got better with 'Spoony!

    What's funny about that?

Believe he's got a bad injury again so I feel sorry for the guy.

Could never fault his commitment for the club when he played and as far as I'm aware has never bad mouthed the club so I've no beef with the guy. He never wanted to be injured so much for us

Would definitely take Hasselbaink at Hibs. Possibly get Higginbotham on a loan? Petrie's recent interview makes me feel like we will invest in the summer.

True but maybe we need more characters like that. A tough attitude and not this "nicey nicey" appraoch.

Kenny McLean - out of contract at st mirren should be a target although will be a target for English team I would imagine

Kallum higgingbotham - great season and exactly what we need

Sonogo - loan spell at Ross county ended and is the type if strong demanding centre half we need

Someone alluded on another thread that we are after or looking at 2 well known players - one being Jamie Macdonald
