Maybe it was a cunning plan to unsettle them...
Aye, GG, about as cunning as one of Baldrick's 'cunning plans' in Blackadder, and about as successful.

Does anyone know our shots on target stats in the last 3 months?
I only have stats from before today and they are for the whole season, it's too late and too much work to break them down.

Hibs % of shots that are on target are 34.62 for the season comfortably worst in the league. In fact I had a look at all years back to 2005/2006 (all the data available) and the previous worst was Hamilton 2008/9 with 40.29% (5.67% better than us).

Our average of 9.84 shots is a little below average but nothing terrible and even our % of goals per shot on target, although poor, is not the worst in the league.

Think he's now had a worse run of results than Duffy
I think it's pretty much identical, in that both the last 19 games now, and the last 19 for Duffy, were W1-D5-L13, including a cup exit to Raith Rovers in both cases.

Hfc the team that keeps giving.....

HFC THE TEAM THAT KEEPS GIVING..the more i think about the more its right. We play teams that have forwards who haven't scored in months they play us bang in 2 goals..we play teams that have not won in weeks and there you go they beat us. The club is an easy touch its been like that for years, its horrible to think we are in the position but its true.

Managers have been sacked for MUCH less than that. It's scary when you see those stats. Jeez that's awful.
Would imagine few managers have kept their jobs with a record like that, at any level.

The stats from 2014 are absolutely incredible.

    Played - 20
    Won - 2
    Drew - 5
Lost - 13 (including a home cup tie against a Championship club)
    Goals - 18
    Conceded - 38

No wins in our last 13 matches and during that time we haven't scored the first goal in any match that we have played.
One clean sheet in our last 20 matches.
No goals from any recognised striker in our last 10 matches.

    It's absolutely dire.
I think these statistics are being taken out of context

If we go down, yes IF, we are in big trouble because we may not be back up for years! Rangers and Hearts would be up before us just by not balancing the books and paying for players they can't afford.

There should be a meeting at ER with ALL the players and staff and this needs to be made clear to all.

We really won't come back up for a while.....which is why I am trying to stay confident that it won't come to it. As good as the Championship teams are playing and although our opponents will be on a high because they are in the playoff they still have to be really nervous because the prize is the same for both teams. If Butcher and Co and all the experienced players cannot get themselves up for this game they should be sent packing post haste. I really would not give up on some of young players. It is not just a case of if they were good enough they would have shown it....they have come into a team that has been sickening for several years now.

But you are right, these statistics don't lie.

I should know this and look it up but the day after yet another defeat depression has set in....is it a 2 game playoff or one game?

I still 'believe' we will be in the SPL next year !

What a blind optimist am I.
