Anyone watching on SS1?

Think they mentioned 1 fan and 1 police officer shot a couple of hours ago and some sizeable clashes outside the ground.

Chances of game going ahead? If reports of shooting are correct might get called off.

Some reports are saying the Napoli players are awaiting confirmation the fan who was shot in the chest earlier has not died before agreeing to play? There's 70k-80k fans in the Stadium though so I'd imagine this will be going ahead. Looking forward to it, it should be a cracker.

This kind of violence reminds me of an article I read recently which suggested that factors such as violence like this and the scandals that have engulfed Italian football over the past few years have seen fans turning to rugby for a "cleaner" sporting experience. That's maybe a generalisation on the part of the journalist in question but then again there was 60-odd thousand at Italy v Scotland this year and two years before it was a 72,000 sell out.

2 of my favourite European teams, both play brilliant football and are great to watch.
0-2 Napoli, Lorenzo Insigne!.

I heard 3 Fiorentina fans were shot, but Italian police saying shootings and riots were not connected

Also a loose Hibs link to tonight's game:
Best player on the park for both legs against Maribor? Josip Iličić also played a blinder in the next round against Palermo, so much so they signed him on the back of those performances.
He's currently in La Viola's front 3 tonight. Great player, quality number 10..
