    Alton towers

Was wondering if anyone has any tips/advice on where best to stay whilst down at Alton towers? Planning on taking mrs jack next weekend leaving the car so we can have a decent crack at the drink at night so would like to stay close but not actually in Alton towers itself

Can't help with that but I noticed Kellogs boxes have 2 for 1 vouchers on them. May be worth a look.

If it's weekend then you might struggle getting somewhere close however there is a few b & B's in alton itself. I've stayed at the holiday inn next to the Britannia stadium in Stoke a few times and it's only about half an hour's drive to the towers.

Good shout mate I saw that the other morning over a bowl of crunchy nuts (top cereal btw) completely forgot about it

Just realised that my phone had put Britain instead of Britannia
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"
