I believe Jordan Forster is suspended for the Partick Thistle game so Mcpake might yet feature in the first team before the end of the season.

1-0 hibs. Lewis Allen. Cairney played a 1-2 with euan smith on the wing. Cairney crossed and Allen headed in with the help of a deflection.

Mcpake looks to be moving freely. He's doing lots of talking and helping his back 4 through the game. He made a late challenge just after our goal but he's bound to be a bit rusty

Out of interest and in your opinion billy ,should Zoubir play against hearts instead of Harris ? who could then come on as impact player like he did in last derby

Half time. Fairly even. Thought the pars started to look the better side in the last 10 minutes but then we got the goal

He's done ok, but dunno if he should start the derby. Cairney has looked livelier to me

Ah well the philosophy is that it's good to lose an early goal as it takes the pressure of of not losing a goal.

    Or something like that.

Your thinking of first team ,the under 20s are made of sterner stuff .Plenty time to turn this around although no Cummings to score will be blow for them .

Injured or has he done enough to be rested to play against hearts ..? Desperately looking for signs that he is going to try something different in this derby

Wouldn't say he's done anything special in particular tonight. Black at right back looks decent. Cairneys set pieces have been very good and McPake has won everything in the air

McPake could just be what we need as he would be playing for new contract .But one game preparation for derby may be asking too Mutch too soon .do we look like winning as these recent draws are scuppering chances of winning league
