    Pheasant in my Garden!

Maybe a common site to folk in the countryside, but not here at North Gyle! Can't decide whether it would be better in the oven than in my garden though.

Kill it, cook it, scran it.
I'd be snapping it's neck I'm afraid, it must have came over from Cammo.
If you're interested, grab it, hold it like a set of bagpipes on its side with its back to you and the head out front, overhand grip on the head, forefingers on the underside of its head, thumb at the base of the skull, rotate the wrist and pull.
Lovely cooked with dates & port!

Left it alone and eventually it left, not sure I could have snapped its neck tbh.
