    PDC Premier League

Starts on 6th February and surprisingly Gary Anderson has been given a wildcard.

Wade has been dropped \ rested \ taken out the limelight for this one.

Full list of players can be found here: http://www.pdc.tv/mccoys-premier-lea...ield-announced

Anyone following this from a betting perspective?

Confidence boosting win for Anderson tonight as he beat Pipe 6-5 to win the German Darts Championship.

Think that's his 1st ranking win for 2 years!

Hope he is on his way back. He's superb but rarely at the races mentally.

Wayne Mardle is a complete fud. Truly awful commentator. Newton throwing in fourth leg and he produces another belter "important dart in this leg and also newtons premier league season". Bloody hell it's only week 1!

Turned into a good night for Gary! Thornton will be gutted.

Why is Gary Anderson so ashamed of winning??

He lobs in the winning dart then starts shaking his head and looks like he's apologising to Taylor for beating him!! He's always at it, maybe he just lacks that killer/mean streak that Lewis, Van Gerwin and a few others have.

The players and the commentators seem to think its not right for Taylor to lose, some of the fawning over him that goes on is enough to make you boak. He's obviously SKY's darts pin-up boy, but, give it a rest! The two Dutch guys appear to be the only ones happy to beat him.

Think he's more hacked off at his doublling towards the end of the game. He had a few darts to finish Taylor earlier on but missed.

Agree with your general sentiment though. He does seem to pack it in all too easily at times.

Can't see Gary doing much here. 2-1 down just now.

Played reasonably well, but just crashed on his doubling at the end. Had plenty of chances to tuck Lewis away but failed (yet again).

Thought for a minute he gave the crowd the finger(s) when he collected his last 3 darts due to the greif he was getting. He certainly didn't look happy and neither did Lewis to be fair.

Anderson had a great run of form over the last 7 weeks and has now qualified for next weeks finals. Scoring very well and (largely) doubling well too, so could be in with a shout.

He had to hold after breaking van gerwen but had a poor leg. Played pretty well though and signs are good going forward.

Pity the prize money does not count towards rankings as Barney would have been close to top 4. That said with the victory over Taylor in the semi last night and subsequent win over MVG here is hoping Barney can kick on this season. Have went off MVG now as too cocky for my liking.
