Rest up and get well soon James - when fully fit you are a real asset to the side - hopefully this op will see the end of your back troubles and let you get a real run of games in before the season is out

Any idea how many months he'll be out for, anyone?

P.s - Wishing you a speedy recovery captain!

I find it a little sad that this thread has been up for an hour and a half and we've only had ONE reply wishing our captain good luck!

I wish James a speedy recovery. Maybe his form or fitness hasn;t been great but he's a passionate guy, loves the club and performs with his heart on his sleeve when he plays for us. A fit and in form James McPake is a massive asset to our defence and I hope he comes back stronger than before. Good luck Skip! :jmcp:

Wished him well already, think prior to the derby red card he was looking like the old McPake, I want him back.

End of the day, we needed him when we were toiling and he helped keep us in the SPL so I hope he recovers well. It's an op he shouldn't had long ago. I personally don't think he'll play for Hibs again but I wish him well for anything he does in the future.

A guy who did give his all for us and by doing so put his own career at risk.

I think Butcher appointed LC full time. That was how it was reported in the papers anyway.

Wish him we'll and a good recovery but not too fussed if he never plays for hibs again thank him for coming in when needed but plays too rash as of late and earns too much for someone so injury prone

It's a 'wish mcpake all the best' thread though.

    No need for the negativity.

And I did, then gave my thoughts on the 'footballing side' it was said by the op to give him good wishes on twitter not on a frickin fans football forum. Some sensitive souls on here
