Hibeernian continue their Scottish Cup run against St Bernard's.
We were hoping for an away tie, which we got. Didn't think it would be so close though
1.30pm KO this Sunday.
We are meeting at the Millenium Centre in Muirhouse for 12.30
If you are free & fancy popping along it would be good to see as many there as possible

St Bernard's have confirmed we are to go back to Ye Olde Inn after - Gibby will be happy.
Players - Shirt & tie is NOT required. Smart casual (or let me know if you would prefer)

The winners of this tie will be away to one of the following:
Crystal Barcelona (based in crossgates, fife) or Edinburgh City AFC
Crystal beat us 3-2 last year
First up a difficult tie on Sunday against St Bernard's

You CAN wear it if you choose. I received a text from the league saying it is NOT required but down to individual club so I passed this on.
Instead of putting stuff on facebook, tweeting about it, why not just put something on here (like you have)
Not Hibs class

Like I said I passed on what I was told. Please note that Harthill never wore shirt & tie & I wonder If St Bernard's will.
When we are away "proper" then I see why we would wear shirt & tie as travelling together, but folk getting off public transport & out of cars is not the same IMO.
So if you WISH to wear shirt & tie then please feel freeLast edited by Gus; 15-11-2013 at 01:17 PM.

Think I've missed something, don't think it ever was the 'rules' but Id have said it was something that was just done. Period.

Was done and will be adhered to in future if we get through. But on this occasion it is up to you as an individual if u wish to wear it.
Personally all im thinking about is the 90 minutes and what the best team to put out.
I would rather have comments, tweets, post about the game and not whether someone will be donning their best Primark shirt and tie combo.

What an effort boys, we play like that week in week out and we should beat most teams.
Apologies to the boys that never got on, just a tight game where too many changes would have stopped the momentum. Great effort and we should have at least took it to penalties.
When you walk off a park and the other team say you didn't deserve to lose that's when you know you've given a team a game!

Devestated to lose in that manner. 5 mins to go. Ref had 2 big calls to to make but sadly got them both wrong.
Every player, subs & supporters should be proud as we played brilliantly for 60 mins. Lots of positives.
Hold ur heads up high coz if Hibs first team showed the amount of fight we did then wee pat would still have a job
