Gary Anderson into the last 8 after a hard fought win against Wes Newton and will now play Phil Taylor tomorrow night.
I really don't like the double start format, but, there's been some great games so far with the promise of more to come.
Barney v MVG probably the highlight of tonight's 2nd round games.

Didn't seem as if Gary and young Wesley were on best of terms at end of match.
Highlight tonight will be the lovely mrs Hamilton. Tissues at the ready :)Last edited by jodjam; 10-10-2013 at 03:19 PM.

Pipe played really well there against Lewis winning 3-0. Time to jack in the break dancing pish at the end though, embarassing!

Pipe bored Lewis (and me) to death in that one. He does score well, but he's murder to watch.
Hoping that Anderson can get past Taylor but he'll be very much 2nd favourite. If Anderson can get as far as the final he'd stand a decent chance of nicking a top 16 spot meaning he'll qualify for the tournament at Ingliston in November.

MVG was outstanding last night in beating Barney 3-0 although its now getting to the stage where his celebrations at the end of a leg are becoming a tad OTT, what a player though.

There is far too much gamesmanship in the PDC nowadays. Twat's like Painter and Newton (even Barney last night) slowing play down to a crawl, stepping back - It's beginning to ruin what should be a quick fire game.
Who really wants to pay to watch Justin Pipe throw 3 darts in as much time as it takes for a kettle to boil?

Wade is almost standing on top of Whitlock when he's throwing. He's a great player but can be a real plank at times.

Anderson simply bottles it every time he plays Taylor - Taylor has the beating of him and Anderson knows it.
I foolishly wagered on Anderson on the 180 market - why, I'll never learn!

Good win by Chisnall against MVG last night. Not sure he has the bottle to reach the very top of the game, he seems to doubt himself at the big moments of a match.
