I think I'd prefer home to Livi - with them fresh from dumping out Motherwell!

And then we'll beat them. Don't worry though Hearts won't get past QOTS.

Knowing the SFA the draw to promote one of our flagship competitions will be at about 4 in the morning then posted on an impossible to find page of their website.

That would be fantastic. An evening derby cup tie under the floodlights? Yes please.

It would also be one of the trips I'd choose as far as actually progressing in the competition is concerned. There are a lot of decent teams still in it.

I'm another that just has a feeling about QOS though. They could do a lot of damage, and not just at the Savile dome.

What percentage of the gate does an away team get in the League Cup?

I could be wrong but I was under the impression it was 50/50 in the cup.

I think its 60% for the home team and 40% for the away team

i heard the stranraer manager give a pre-game interview on the radio yesterday and i'm sure he said they would get approx 40% of the gate receipts

Is it not 50/50 after costs (police, stewards, turnstile staff, etc.), which may well end up being the equivalent of about 40%?

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup will take place at Hampden Park this Thursday, September 26, at 3pm.

Hibernian, Inverness CT, Morton and St Johnstone will be joined in the last eight by the winners of tonight's remaining third-round ties.

The quarter-final draw is not seeded and games will be played on the midweek of October 29/30.

League and cup doubles in the space of a few days usually gets thrown up,
in that case, we have Aberdeen on the 26th Oct and Motherwell on the 3rd November.
Really wish I hadn't checked that - would rather avoid those teams.

Anyone at home, but a non SPL team would be ideal, and be a fantastic chance to reach a national semi-final.
