I hope Rod has arranged for someone else to stand in the back corner of the dug-out, muttering strings of sweary words under his breath.

Has Liam O,Brien left
reading the Suns "Story" about Killen and then went to the related articles part and there was a story about Ben Williams being on the bench for Man U and at the end of the article they slip in a wee bit about Liam O,Brien leaving sharp on the Heels of Jimmy Nicholl,s arrival - have I missed this somewhere or is it just the Sun using "Creative journalism"

It would be good to get some clarification from Hibs about this. I presumed that Nicholl was an addition to the coaching staff as opposed to a replacement for LOB, though am happy to have him either way - it would mark quite a change for Pat though, given how long he has worked with Liam.
Excited about Nicholl's addition either way, can only be a good thing IMO. Ross County were holding their own in the SPL last year, but went from strength to strength after Neale Cooper was appointed assistant manager in late November.

No great loss. Jimmy Nic will have a far bigger influence over the players, for one he actually knows his stuff and doesn't need to shout and swear when trying to get his point across.

We will see today if he had left or not. I do find it strange the club have not made any comment on him leaving, so that would lead me to believe he has not

Shouldn't Fenlon take some responsibility for poor tactics/organization and poor players (a fair few of whom he has signed)? Either way, Nicholl will improve things.Last edited by sesoim; 30-06-2013 at 01:59 AM.

Think there is a bit more to it than that.

Liam O'Brien
I was away for hols recently and wondered if there had been an explanation of why LOB left. Thought it was a strange one with him being with PF for a few years. The bringing in of Jimmy Nicholl while a positive step IMO smacks a little of a Derek Adams type appointment in that I am not altogether sure PF would have known him much before the appointment.
Would this appointment undermine the managers position?
