Vigurs would have been a good signing had we gone in for him. As we have already signed Liam Craig I don't think that was ever going to be the case though.

Celtic reject a £4M bid from Hull City for Gary Hooper. Really surprised at that. That a looked a great offer for a player that only has 12 months left on his contract.

I read that as somebody has made the screenshot as a spoof to try and look like Man Utd had accidentally put it on their site?

I think they turned down £8 mil in January from Norwich for him to then be non existent in two ties against Juve. They must be looking to get a figure somewhere near £8 mil. Stupid money.

Apparently we're looking at Dominic Blizzard, who is a free agent currently.

Another midfielder, 6ft 2" mind. Not sure we will be in for this guy, maybe if Thomo doesn't sign right enough

Could add some much needed grit to the midfield.

Decent player, burton didn't want to let him go IIRC. Tall, strong but a bit clumsy a la Gregory Tade

83 goals in 311 career appearances. Will probably be decent for them.

Quite impressed with Aberdeen's business thus far.

Think there signings will definitely boost their squad but don't think I'd have them at hibs, Robson undoubtedly was a very good player but at 34 is a very short term option and won't have the same impact on games. And flood is a hit or miss most games. Personally think our midfield is in a stronger position. As for Zola don't know much of him but I would be hoping we could get better!

Yep watched him in the league 2 play offs and looked a real handful. A bit hit and miss skill wise however would be amazed if he didnt score a few here.

I was impressed with aberdeen's business last summer and in other summers too but while they often look in better shape than a lot of teams they haven't done anything for a few years. Robson was a good player but whether he still is, who knows. Think he will do ok though similar job to what Gavin Rae did if not better as he will provide more assists and score more goals. Flood is decent spl standard but not hugely exciting. No idea what the striker is like. Players like him coming to the spl have proven to be a bit hit and miss over the years. If he is good though they could get goals with McGinn and Hayes out wide. Mcinnes is prob best manager they have had since calderwood too.

Totally agree with you, I remember reading last season folk saying they have done great with their signings and will be really strong and that didn't materialise. I look at the signings they have made this year and I think they will add a solid foundation but wont transfer their fortunes into a considerably better team IMO. Who would you rather have Thomson, Flood or Robson? I know who I would rather have.

Does that mean we've got him then, Gary?!
