Most of the idiots on the Facebook page have no idea who Kraftwerk are. Folk saying things like "Who? get Daft Punk...". Jesus, if it wasn't for Kraftwerk there would be no Daft Punk etc. Most of the comments are a total embarassment.

I'm happy to get the chance to go see Kraftwerk live.....but I'd much rather it was Daft Punk playing at T. I must be one of the idiots..

You appear to at least know who they are. The idiots are the ones who are moaning because they've never heard of Kraftwrk, let alone have any incline of the influence they've have had on music over the last 40 years, especially the electronic and dance music they crave.

t in the park and electronic music do not really go hand in hand. it seems the majority just wabt to see bands from indie/rock. with a small scattering of hip-hop. in actually gutted im not getting to see kraftwerk. and as rightly pointed out if it wasn't for them the dance music scene may never have happened. i just pray the swedish house mafia/ david guetta fans who go really appreciate the significance of what they witness. but probably not.

Saw them play last night at the Tate modern in london. Amazing gig.

Unsure how the setup will work in balado though assuming they're going to be on the main stage.

NME stage I would have thought in the same slot that SHM and Deadmau5 have had previously.

More names announced today, line up pretty meh so far with a few notable exceptions. Hopefully some more interesting stuff to come.
