I think snow patrol will be more entertaining than our (lack of) transfer activity :)

Fantastic start to the weekend tomorrow evening. First up The Specials are playing live on Radio 6, Steve Lamacq show.

Then sit back and watch the gunts get humped by Kilmarnock.

Enjoy yourself it's later than you think

Scotland calling, 27th April looks a good line up. Downside is that it's been moved to the 02 Academy which is a crap venue.

Finally going to see Tears For Fears & Alison Moyet at The Hydro tonight, almost a year after the original gig was cancelled. Last saw TFF at the Playhouse in 1985.

We wanted to go to that but have Slash & Myles Kennedy at SECC on Sunday and Virginmary's at Sneaky Pete's on the Tues, can't go to them all unfortunately.

Yep, fantastic voice. I was on his personal guest list when he did his acoustic gig in the Liquid Rooms, long story but a brilliant night.

    Tell us!

I have the Ruts/ Professionals (only really going for the Professionals) next Sunday at the Liquid Rooms, The Rifles in April at the Mash House and the Sex Pistols Experience in May at La Belle Angele.

Yeah . I love Slash’s music, and listening to Myles singing is always fantastic

Might be a controversial opinion, but I think Myles does the G n’ R stuff better than Axl.

i couldn’t make it to the liquid rooms or the gig in Glasgow, was gutted

We couldn't get tickets for Myles acoustic set at the Liquid Rooms as it sold out immediately, then about 3 days before the show a friend of my wife from work called her to say she had a spare ticket for the gig as she couldn't go, so we went and got said ticket, the wife was suddenly going and not me. I then took to Twitter and had a moan about my wife having a ticket and me missing out. I got a tweet from Kirsten Sprinks, owner of Cosa Nostra PR asking if I was still wanting to go to the gig, I followed her and PM'd her. Next thing I get is a PM saying I was on Myles private guest list and just to tell the folk on the door, and right enough when I got there my name was there on his private list, there are some really nice people on this planet at times, made my day that did.
