Nice one. Did Paolo's new material sound good?
Personally i thought the new material was great, totally different direction for him a lot more soul in the songs but he's got the voice for it. He mixed up a couple of his older songs and they sounded great too.

I've seen some of the videos on YouTube of the rearranged old stuff. It's fantastic! Loving 'Iron Sky', 'Better Man' and 'Scream' from the new one so very excited for it's release!

Joan As Policewoman in August at the Liquid Rooms. I want to see Cherry Ghost as well, but it doesn't fit in with days off work.

Had to give my ticket away for tomorrow night due to impending birth of child. Have seen him loads of times from his Arab Strap days to his Bill Wells collaboration, and never been disappointed.

Got a Glastonbury ticket this morning! Unbelievably lucky.

Also gonna go for a libertines ticket on Monday morning.

I have two tickets for Aidan Moffat tonight that I can't use any more. Anyone want them?

Went to Brew at the Bog over the weekend up in Inverness. Admiral Fallow, Kid Canaveral, King Creosote, Roddy Woomble, Prides etc for £35 with loads of different beers, a fully stocked gin bar, good food, absolute gem of a festival.

Admiral Fallow and Miaoux Miaoux were the highlights for me. Kid Canaveral were really good too as was Roddy Woomvle, despite the sound issues.

That gin bar though... I'm fairly skint after that. So good.

Not exactly a gig, but based around the music of Martyn Bennett, I'm going to the Tramway in Glasgow to see Grit.
