Kings of Leon in Newcastle at the end of may, set to be a cracker!

Now it's time to decide what festival I fancy, TITP, Leeds, Isle of Wight, Creamfields or something else

I've seen Bruce live seven times now. And to think there was a time when I thought I may never see him! The man is a hero to me!

Nice one. I am a huge Jam fan. Have you seen this outfit before Howdenthehibby? I have been wanting to see a Jam tribute band gig for a while now.

Also got a pair of tickets for the Manic St Preachers gig at the corn exchange on the 4th of April and me and the wife are well looking forward to it. Has anyone seen them live? I have watched a few gigs on YouTube and they look decent live. They usually play all their hits like Design for life, If you tolerate this ect.

Yeah I've seen them a few times and got a ticket for this one, I love them. Great band live, the more songs from The Holy Bible the better!

Enjoyed very much what was another majestic performance by Mogwai, this time in The Usher Hall on Saturday night. Next up is The Amazing Snakeheads, who play Sneaky Pete's on the night of the derby, Sun 30th March. Not sure if morning pints in the Murrayfield lends itself too well for going to a gig at night, but we will give it a go. Probably just as well the wife and daughter are out the country that day ..

Yes , Seen them at this venue last year Better than youre average tribute band, as it contains original member Bruce Foxton. Close youre eyes and you would think it was the real thing. Singer and guitarist Russell Hastings sounds a lot like Paul Weller. Im sure you'll have a geat time.

How did you manage that? Did you get them through the Kate Bush fan presale?

Yes. Myself and the missus are fans so I signed up to katebush.com years ago on the off chance of receiving info/tickets if she ever toured. Paid off. Now arguing over whose ticket we should sell for £1500
