Just back from Vegas where I attended my first gig of the year. Depeche Mode at the T Mobile Arena. First of all, what a venue. They really do put us to shame. Great show and crowd but looking forward to seeing them back in Europe in a couple of months where the venues aren't all seated with the ridiculous pricing structure in the States. Next up, Tom Meighan in a couple of weeks.......

I got Elton John tickets for my birthday. 😊
Buy nothing online unless you check for free cashback here first. I've already earned £2,389.68!

Wow, big star, sure he'll be chuffed. Is your birthday usually all-ticket?

Billy Bragg at the Usher Hall in November, celebrating 40 years of his music. I’ve only seen him once, 30 years ago, so I’m delighted he’s doing this tour.

This is a handy thread for notifications of gigs that I often seem to miss.

Scarlet Mist can be a good site to find tickets, without being scalped.

Yeah it's good. Unfortunately I can't set up an alert as they already have 15 folk with an alert set.

Songkick (https://www.songkick.com/) is useful for that – you add artists and locations you're interested in and it notifies you when matching gigs are listed.

It's a bit of work to add all the artists, but it's good once that's done. (You can link it to something like Spotify so that it automatically adds artists that you listen to, but I've found this creates a lot of 'noise' – artists that I might listen to now and then but have no interest in seeing live – so then I have to do the admin of going through and removing them.)

Thanks. Don't do Spotify though. Spotify is killing music.

Got tickets on the pre sale a few weeks back, they're with Mammoth WVH and is their only UK gig prior to Download.

Heard on the radio the other day that he's been recording stuff with Alan Clarke again.

Now that would be a nice wee bonus....

Think Tribes might be supporting? Thoroughly recommend being there in time for them.

I'm down to Manchester in June for the Courteeners gig, The Snuts and DMA's supporting.

Think that'll be the 4th time seeing DMA's for me too

He was decent, not massively keen on the solo stuff, but the kasabian stuff was great
