Got tickets for Too Many Zooz at La Belle Angele, Friday November 10th, if you've never heard of these guys they're well worth going to see, Leo P is a genius on the Sax

Got tickets in yesterdays pre sale for Noel Gallagher at the Hydro, not cheap £248 for 4 standing tickets including the fees they add on, £6.70 per ticket on Ticketmaster plus £2.20 postage, had to pre order the new album and poster as well.

For this gig the lead bookers name will be on ALL the tickets and you all have to arrive at the same time as the lead booker has to show ID or nobody gets in. Its a good idea i suppose as it should stop touts selling on for huge prices but it also means you cant buy them as gifts for people.

Gutted I’m missing Gerry, his gigs are bonkers. His album is out today.

Barras isn't big enough, will make more money using the Hydro. I'm going as well, looking forward to it.

Agree, the hydro is crap unless you're standing, which I'm not for LG but I am for NG.

Tbf I am standing and have not yet stood.

I just think it’s too large.

Btw one of my mates bought tickets (standing) and flights to Belgium for NG for the same price as a standing ticket for the hydro

So why in the UK do we have to pay so much for tickets? I blame Petrie.

Putting aside the annoying "booking fees" and "handling fees" and "lead singer's coke fees", I'm not sure that we do. I've been to a few gigs in Holland and the States in recent years, and prices are probably higher there.

Tickets abroad can be dearer. €100 is the norm for a big stadium gig in Germany, France etc. America is even worse. The current exchange rate doesn’t help.

I saw The National again last week, and also Nick Cave on Saturday. I think he might be the best live performer I've ever seen, it was absolutely amazing.

Manic Street Preachers, Roddy Woomble, Placebo, The Xcerts, We Were Promised Jetpacks, The Cribs up in the next few months.

There will be a mega music festival at the O2 in London 2018. I don't know the lineup but hear it will be extraordinary. I am getting tickets for this.

Just did pre-sale tickets for Pink 5/18 and Sam Smith 8/18 in LA.

AMAs coming up Nov 19th in LA.

Blue Rose Code is opening the new studio theatre in Perth Theatre next February. Got my tickets on Wednesday.

DMA's supporting the Kooks. Well worth turning up early for. You can even leave after them and not have to stay for the Kooks. If they would only play Seaside, then Naive, then let everyone go home early!

I’m now having to take my wee boy to concerts. Did John Legend at the O2.

Soon, I’ll be just the taxi service, though.
