Bombay Bicycle Club's new album. Best thing they've done. I didn't care for them much before.

Enjoying Taking Back Sunday's new album, 'Happiness Is...', despite knowing they won't be able to perform it live.

Seeing them live last year shattered a lot of illusions sadly as they're easily the worst band I've seen live.

Really looking forward to La Gargola from Chevelle next month as the first single from it 'Take out the Gunman' was excellent!

Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Their latest single is sung by their guitarist and he's got a cracking voice. Danny doesn't even have any good banter, just "How are you all feeling?" "Are you having a nice day?" "I'd love it if you sang along to this one". It's like some randoms won a competition to front a famous rock band but was disappointed to find out it wasn't Coldplay.
The new song Refugees is quality.

Agree they just don't have the consistency though. They'll do a good greatest hits tour one day!

I have seen them live and thought they were ok though, 2006 and I remember liking it. Don't remember if his voice was great or not?

Today, I will mostly be listening to The Tallest Man On Earth: There's No Leaving Now

A great young-ish (30) singer from Sweden who writes and sings in the style of Bob Dylan

nice one, just added this as a spotify playlist. Saw him touring memory muscle a few years back, I see he released an album last year I missed.

Released late last year but 'Fading West' by Switchfoot is another beautiful album in their back catalogue

A Flash of Darkness was meant to issue last year but maybe only was issued to to "pledgers"? It's out for real now anyway. I think the guy is superb, seen him so many times just doing his acoustic show.

Probably an age thing but I think it's pretty boring, as was the previous one. Humbug was my favourite after the 1st album.

I have to say I am still playing Arcade Fire's Reflektor to death, best album I've heard in a long time and IMO way better then their 1st 2. I really liked The Suburbs though.

Chevelle - La Gargola - yet another spectacular edition to their catalogue.

Finch - What It Is To Burn X - I was at one of the WIITB tours and this CD brought back a superb night in London

Funnily enough I thought that was their worst! Opinions eh?

Just got "Going Back Home" by Wilko Johnson and Roger Daltrey.

Absolute belter of an album. Good old fashioned British R&B by a bunch of guys who really know what they are doing. Played hard, fast and with love.
