I really want to thank you for this post - I absolutely love Circa Waves already.

I also think HUTCHYHIBBY should have the lassie from Young Chasers video as his avatar.

I would say it's a bit more chilled than the last album.

Gave it a couple of listens this morning and I agree, it's superb. The track with the smoke fairies (valentina) and the other side are particularly good imo.

Every single song is outstanding and I managed to get a wee response from the beauty on twitter Chelsea Edge - beautiful and a very good actress.

Jamie T'S 2009 album is still on the go on my CD player - Panic Prevention is brilliant, also very different to Carry on the Grudge - both amazing.

Not a new album don't think its been mentioned,

The War on Drugs - Lost In The Dream

Amazing album that I've probably listened to the most in the last few months 11/10

I love a bit of Jamie T, all his albums are quality. Went through to see him in Glasgow twice last year (at the art school and the barrowlands), great gigs.

He's got a new EP out soon too.

Just as an aside here, if anyone could recommend bands similar to Bring me the Horizon I would be sincerely grateful. Suicide Silence maybe a bit too heavy for me

Gang Of Four - What Happens Next

Thought I'd have a listen of this as it has Alison from The Kills on a couple of tracks its damn good

Suicide Silence is one of my go-to albums if I'm having a VERY bad day - it's just noise!

In a similar vein, I'd recommend Of Mice & Men, Memphis May Fire, Asking Alexandria, The Amity Affliction, Attack Attack or We Came As Romans.

I've been listening to the deluxe issue of Restoring Force: Full Circle by Of Mice & Men of late and it's such a phenomenal album.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

In addition to the above, I guess it depends which Bring Me The Horizon you're enjoying. If it's the 'There is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It...' BMTH, check out 'The Flood' by Of Mice & Men...if you're more enjoying 'Sempiternal', check out Restoring Force by Of Mice & Men. Distinct drop in heaviness between these 2 albums.

There's a Suicide Silence song I really like - on the video they are being shot and there is blood everywhere, any idea what it's called? Also still listening to Death Magnetic by Metallica which is about 1,000,000 times better than St. Anger.

Sorry, I've totally confused myself - I thought you were referring to Suicide Season, their 2nd album!

The Resistance: Rise of the Runaways by Crown the Empire is getting a somewhat repetitive airing for me just now. Superbly constructed and very diverse album.

An album that I think is going to be really, really special is Courtney Barnett's upcoming one.

Aye I meant to say Sylar, I like "Diamonds aren't forever" and "It never ends" so I'm going to become a completest, all with thanks to you recommending Sempiternal on here.

BMTH are one of my favourite bands. Not all of these bands sound like BMTH but if you like them, im sure you'd like these.

    Stick To Your Guns
Stray From The Path(very like a heavier RATM)
    Enter Shikari
    Beartooth
While She Sleeps(new album is insane)
Being As An Ocean(Most chilled band I listen to)
    Northlane(Cant recommend them enough)
    Brutality Will Prevail
    Hundreth
    The Ghost Inside
Deftones(Hospital for Souls by BMTH is very like Change by Deftones as Empire is very Deftones-esque)
    Gideon
    Issues
    Letlive
    Architects
    The One Hundred
    Your Demise

Probably keep you going for a little while.
