Two games in to the season and already one thing has become clear in this post-Sevco world. It’s not the lack of visitors from Glasgow that the SPL clubs should be worrying about, it’s the missing home supporters. If you consider the poor football that has been on offer at Easter road for a couple of years our first home game was always going to be a hard sell. Our first match at Tannadice appeared to be a re-run of all the worst bits of our last league campaign. Fast forward six days though and a completely different Hibs team took to the pitch. One in which hard work, determination in the tackle and a strong resolve to stick to the task in hand produced one of our best derby displays for some time. No Hibs fan will be getting carried away, we all know the mammoth task Pat Fenlon faces to move our club forward. The cloud hanging over us has lifted slightly though.
