Having major technology issues at the moment lads, I might struggle to do a draft unless I can fix them soon.

Or i spend every minute of the day in the pub.

Are folks happy with a 12 team league or two leagues of six?

I think a 12 team would present more of a challenge to be honest. But then 2 x 6 could result in damned good matchups on a weekly basis...

I'm actually a little torn.

Shame DH has gradually slipped away from these threads. I miss his efforts to be funny.

Bairn said on the NCAA/NFL thread that they wanted to play as well, just put it on the wrong thread I think. That would make 14 with Grammyb, so a 14 team league or an 8 and a 6.

14 team league is tough, but it makes draft research and getting the draft right vital because trades generally become less likely. It also makes our offline draft an absolute marathon.....

To be honest I found the splitting of the league less fun last year as part of the fun of it is the banter on the thread on here, which seemed to be less last year than in previous years. I'd be more in favour of a single league, but I know its really tough and if you get the draft wrong or lose a starter to injury you've virtually no chance of pulling things back through picking up players on waivers.

I wouldn’t want a 14 team league TBH it’s too hard to fill your roster with players that actually play rather than filling the subs bench with 4th ranked starters or free agents 🧐

Would it be worthwhile advertising on the PM board or main board to try and get a couple more to bring it to 8 and 8? I'd feel for whoever is in the 6 team league to be honest.

I could possibly get another guy, but he's not a Hibs fan far less being on this forum. Offline draft looks like it'd take ages and be hard to keep track of, but I guess it has worked in previous years?!

I’d say go for a 14 team league as 8/6 not really a challenge. Did we not have 14 or 16 teamer once before and I’m sure we were fine!

That's a definite "no" for me, for the reason in bold. It's necessary.

One big league seems to be the consensus, I'll put everyone's name into a hat and post the draft order today. Once I have done that we can get cracking.

Nice one, stanford have been fairly strong and their conference can be mixed so moderate success is achievable

I think if you download Tapatalk to your phone and subscribe to the thread it will notify you when someone posts. I'm not 100% on that though. It definitely notifies you when someone messages or quotes you.

I found using the google spreadsheet in previous years pretty useful for keeping track of all the picks, its a bit of duplication, but if anyone wants to use it feel free to put your picks in or update it with picks that have been missed. I'll try to keep it as up to date as possible.
