liked him. did the basics well and wasn't feared of putting a boot in. on initial thoughts would prefer to see him central rather than wide.

I know it's early days but in the time he was on yesterday he showed commitment,a cool head, good passing & reading of the game but most of all he wanted to win the ball & always did

Thought Cairney was one of the biggest positives yesterday. He was good on the ball and prepared to get stuck in too. Very impressed.
