I've seen some names that would excite but surely a reality check is needed based on some names mentioned.
Championship players, even those out of contract, will still expect to get championship sized wages and we will not be offering these.

The biggest hurdle, other than identifying better players that will have desire, strength and a will to win for 90+ minutes every week, is going to be convincing anyone to come to Easter Road. Yes we are a big name with great facilities but the team has been gong backwards for a good couple of years. It will be the hunger for the challenge that will be as important as the players quality if we are to start the steady climb in the right direction.

Pat and the 'tache will need the selling skills of Swiss Tony, CR Smith's top windae man and the boy who used to sell snow to the eskimos to convince quality players that Easter Road is where they want to be.
