I can't remember the balance sheet figures in the last accounts, but I reckon around £10m, ie. values of Easter Road + East Mains + any other assets + goodwill, minus the debt (mortgages and overdraft).

Cant be right Peev? We've been getting told for years that STF stands to make a fortune when Hibs are sold and thats all he's in it for. I recall reading on here that he is about £10m out of pocket to date.

Why do you say that? It'd definitely be lower if Hibs weren't a going concern, but ER is worth a lot more as a football Stadium than as a piece of land for development. Originally Posted by Tory Hibby

Football clubs are not an attractive prospect and given that we are £6.5m in debt, albeit well structured, I dont think anybody in their right mind would pay £10m for Hibs. Not even close IMO.
Property developer maybe but certainly not anyone with a complete set of marbles.

Actually john I don't think you are miles away with 1quid I doubt STF cares about the money received if its going to a person that shares his vision/even wants to take us further forward, I would imagine our due diligence may be a bit better than at rangers though
