Seems to be a recurrent theme of young players having heart problems on the football pitch.
I think it's about time fifa introduced more tests either during training or before or after
matches to try and find why this health problem seems so prevalent in the modern game.
My own theory could be the pace and workrate that is expected of players today is
puting to much strain on the heart muscle which could lead to heart failure and
possibly death such as the young Italian who died today.

    Really shocking.

He fell down then got up and fell down again and stayed down the second time as players were desperately trying to alert the ref.

    Really really tragic stuff.

Very sad, I wondered why the AC Milan game was off last night, all Italian games are off today.

Is it right that the player had already lost both his parents and a brother? He was only 25. What a tragic family.
