    Cheltenham

As the Cheltenham festival starts tomorrow, and i've not got much of a clue with horses, has anyone got any tips / offers / advise (other than don't bet) ?
I see Paddy Power are offering money back on all horses if Sprinter Sacre wins tomorrow's 2:05 which seems quite a good deal.

Zarkandar each way in the 3.20 should have a chance and you can still get about 6/1.

Sprinter Sacre is currently sitting at evens on William Hill, I only got 4/5 this morning so that's a deal.

Scotsirish is a shout in the Glenfarclas (4.15 I think) and is about 3/1.

Galileos Choice is seeing a lot of interest in the opener (1.30) today and could be a half decent punt. That's a wide open race and about 4 or 5 have a decent shout. 7/1 and upwards is tempting though.

It's worth considering betting on Paddy Power for the 2.05. They have a money back special on the Arkle if Sprinter Sacre wins. Sprinter Sacre the ods on favorite so worth taking at evens if you can get it but also worth taking a punt on an outsider safe in the bet that if SS does win you get your money back, Menorah for me at 10-1 is well worth a punt.

Turned out to be a decent each way shout!

Well, today proved why I normally don't bet on the horses. Dire.

You have a treble on that? Only bet I took was hunt ball in the 5.15 so continuing my good run at Cheltenham. Must be birthday luck, last 2 years I've turned a tasty wee profit on it.

I got tips/advice last night from a jockey riding there today but have never got tips from him before so it's a bit of a blind faith day. I like Grand Cru and New Year's Eve the best today though.

Best to go e/w against a short price fav or hedge it in running. I'll substitute Cotton Mill for Battonier.

One Cool Shabra in the 4.40 might be worth a look for an each way punt.

Heard about 10 different tipsters mention him now.

Was 50/1 this morning, now at 40s. Wouldn't go staking a fortune but a couple of quid each way wouldn't be a bad idea.

Going well would probably have finished 2nd but decided it was ducking out. Bang goes my million.

    Sizing Europe robbed there IMO.

The decision not to jump the last may or may not have been correct, personally I thought there was more than enough room, but the 'flag man' was nowhere near visible enough and Sizing Europe had to be pulled in quite a bit to route him away from the fence in time.

Had the fence.been jumped or the direction change been indicated earlier he would have won comfortably.

Some day for the Henderson yard, always a man to keep on your side at The Festival! In saying that, not sure I would've backed any of them if I had got involved!
