    ?
Small beer. They were only sold at 70p or thereabouts, so this is 30 grand's worth. Chuckie will be in for millions if he can pull it off.

This is all part of the plan I'm afraid. The plan that was to allow rangers to shed their debt and remain a football club. Green has played his part in the orchestrated charade and will now get his payday. This was Minty's plan from the start and so far the only thing that has not gone according to plan has been SPL fans revolting and forcing their clubs to not allow the phoenix straight into the SPL.

next move will be to appoint a "real" Rangers man CEO (Sir Walter D'ebt that towering figure of business acumen), rake in the season ticket money and then taker their place in SPL2 or whatever re-org scheme ogilvie and co will cook up to benefit them.

Once again, only fan power will possibly stop that scheme.
And they would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for pesky:-

    1. BDO and their investigation into the asset transfer.

    2. Craig Whyte and his claim on the assets.

    3. Campbell Ogilvie and the fact that he is nothing to do with the SPL or the SFL.

Still a lot to play for. Courage.....

I heard the joyous news on the way back home - the story that keeps on giving is keeping on giving....can we please have Whyte proving he still owns the assets...while the over paid loss making mess that is the football business fall apart as the diddled fans realise they have paid £20 million to win Div 3

So now we move into what may be the decisive phase of this whole hilarious business.

The courts will now have to decide who owns Ibrox and Murray Park, maybe Cav and CG can elucidate what the usual procedure is here while court proceedings are ongoing.

Will it involve a big blue padlock?

I am getting quite excited they will die again, only this time no zombie tribute act will pop up. Sir Craig or BDO to plunge the stake into the zombie heart. Evil purged from the land!

Good riddance Green, you ****ing odious ****.

Didn't even try to hide how much of a pr!ck he was, and in the end it's cost him (though he is no doubt much wealthier for his time at Ibrox).
I echo the above.....He was a total cretin, who only spoke to rabble rouse the hun hoardes, whilst showing a distinct lack of respect to every other club in the process......

Woild be nice, although likelier outcome would be that the next resurrection would be through buying another club (e.g. St Mirren), killing its identity and then rebranding it as newnewhuns.

They can't do that though - the rule was changed after Clydebank was bought and renamed Airdrie United

i've really not been following this as much as i should've been.

Does Charles green not own the club? If he steps down I take it he's not relinquishing control of the club?

Maybe his 'paki friend' could take over

Away back t'mill ya crooked hun *******.

love the way the dirty Huns are dressing this up!
fact is, the truths about to be spilled and green is off before their loyal(ist) fans send in the lynch mob. He's running as scared as whyte did.
    Didn't Green n Whyte do a great job ;)

Celtic Underground@celticrumours2hGreen can sell his shares now. Locked in restriction on share sales ceases. He's out with the cash

    Would this be right?

He has shares in the club. In that respect, he is a part owner. He doesn't have control, though.

IMO, it's business as usual....usual, he says

CW would probably need a Court order to force anything else.

BDO, though, will be watching keenly.

Being watched keenly doesn't seem like that much of a disincentive to misbehave.

Why has nothing yet been done about the sale of assets for tuppence and the subsequent valuation, a matter of weeks later, by the peeps who bought them for tuppence, of the same assets for much more than tuppence? Can't remember the exact figures but they could be 5 v 80m, summin like that. Doesn't it seem a bit like these scamsters are merrily ripping the pish out of the financial industry which is supposed to be overseeing them?

Or has something been done and just not yet reported?

Firstly, liquidations work slowly for the most part. IIRC the Airdrie one took 7 years. They also work quietly and out of public sight.

The latest development will slow things up even more. There would be little point in chasing one party on the assets transfer if it turned out they didn't actually own them.

Do you think that the recent claims by CW, that CG was a front man for CW's purchase, make it more likely to pursue the idea that items were sold "on the cheap"?
