I do sort of want to see Jack Reacher, but having read almost all of the books I can't bring myself to accept that I'll be watching Jack Reacher when he's played by a midget. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Django Unchained - Excellent film. I enjoyed it more as the film went on. Can't wait to watch it again. Will buy it when it comes out on DVD.
Killing Them Softly - Pretty bland film. I was expecting more. Boring script. Brad Pitt was good though.
The Impossible. Emotional film which tries to get across the impact of the Tsunami. I thought it started off really well and whilst no doubt harrowing for those involved I couldn't help thinking it would have been better with a tale from some locals who lost everything.
Death Race 3 - What you would expect. Stuff getting blown up and cars. Pretty crap but passes the time.

Not sure if it's been mentioned already but I'd definitely recommend Angel's Share. Fantastic.

In light of recent events, I watched again 'The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, Chavez, The Coup'. One of the best documentaries ever.

Just watched Django Unchained and thought it was excellent.
Superb scene with the KKK arguing about not being able to see out the holes in their hoods

Lawless is certainly worth a watch, good cast including Tom Hardy playing the usual hard man role.

The Reef. Basically like open waters and anything else with sharks.

Watched Made in Dagenham and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy this week, thoroughly enjoyed both. Tinker etc had its faults but is held together by Gary Oldman, who is one of the most underrated actors of his generation IMO.

Tyrannosaur. Unbelievably good.
Peter Mullan namechecked DeNiro early on in the film, ironically, since he went on to pull off the kind of performance DeNiro used to do in the old days.

Watched Silver linings Playbook and Life of pi over the weekend. Enjoyed them both.
Some really awkwardly funny bits in SLP. And the visuals in Life of Pi are absolutely stunning.
