Anyone know why Match of the Day is probably the only programme which you can't get on the BBC Iplayer?

As stated above, its all to do with the rights the BBC bought as part of their package. Doesnt include showing highlights throughout the week. Only give rights to a main showing and one repeat.

Pretty annoying as i'm rarely in on a Saturday to watch it! I'm sure i've watched it on the iPlayer a couple times?

No point in it as they put MOTD2 on there and you get the Sunday games on that.
