    Royal Mail/Stamps Question

I want to send something by second class mail, it is a "large letter" and weighs about 120g.

    This would cost 92p.

It's pretty inconvenient for me to get to a post office in the next couple of days but I have large first class stamps so could I send it using two first class stamps(each having a value of 46p) and adding some kind of note saying "Please send by Second Class Large - 92p"?

    Cheers in advance

Edit: Just realised it's normal first class stamps that are 46p

Yes, I have done this, wrote second class in large letters in top left hand corner no problem.

I went for it. Saved me a trip to the post office which is handy because there isn't one near my work.
