    Rivaldo

    http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2885/...a-and-ac-milan

Where's Tom Hart when we need him most?

    Outlay
    11 home games
£25,000 per week plus goals bonus. Total outlay £400,000

    Income
    Merchandise £150,000
    Ticket income £250,000

Even if it cost us more than £25,000 a week would it make sense to keep us from the drop?

    Sauzee, Best anyone?

You've came out with a few crackers recently but this takes the piss.

Even though this is clearly not going to happen it just goes to show how easy it is to identify:
    1. players not good enough for Hibs, and
    2. players too good for Hibs.

Now if only we could find some players that people think would come to, and belong at, Hibs........

Teetotal mate and hard at work today

Oh and Pretty Boy - who gives a flier about what a smelly Yam thinks. I'm 55 and never given them the time of day. Like they are going to care about my post with that Bampot Vlad off on one again

Dare say I would have got the same response in '79 if I'd mentioned George Best or in '99 if I'd suggested we could go after Sauzee?

Anyway - thought it would make a change from the usual rumours about us signing the guy from Chesterfield's reserves or the players that had fallen out of favour at Motherwell or Hartlepool.

Off to finish my Jim'll fix it letter to Sir Tom Farmer

apart from anything else, sauzee was/is a gentleman - rivaldo, as far as i'm aware, is an arrogant tit.

Assuming you're being serious, assuming your maths adds up, assuming we forget any sign-on fee, assuming that we have anything like that sort of money... why would he sign for Hibs?

And what does Sauzee have to do with this? Sauzee was on £6k a week, and that's extravagant by our standards.

It was even more extravagant in the late 90's. Equivalent of £15k nowadays?

Pele! Now that's more like it. We're in a relegation dogfight and, given his TV work in recent years, it's clear that he would know how to keep us up.

There's no way you could accuse us of being soft through the middle with Pele around right enough.

Plus all his illegitimate kids would guarantee a first sell out since we built the East if they all came to watch their dad.

Yes Tom Hart brought in George Best and where did we end up in the 1st Division in79.
Super stars no thanks we need 5 players mimium, RB, CB. Crying out for a midfield general.
OH for a Pat stanton Type and couple of decent wide boys. Above all these players must
bottle for the fight to save us from relegation. Over to you Pat Fenlon.

Would he get a game ahead of Scott or Stevenson though?
