My post wasn't to be taken too seriously but obviously some people are in a bad mood tonight, and for the record the fact that he scored 12 goals is irrelevant to the discussion of how much of a fool he has been since.

Arguably, O'Connor generally did a decent job for us on the pitch. Off the pitch he has been an unmitigated disaster but that's his problem to sort out. He's moved on in football and good luck to him ............... I think it's a bit much to let a sending off ( better players than him get sent off) signal another attempt to drag him through the gutter. Give the guy a break.

I think its absolutely key we continue to micro-analyse the behaviour on and off the pitch of a player plying his trade thousands of miles away.
