    Latapy

There's been a fair amount of chat about binning the coaching staff and starting from scratch and i was thinking about the merits of binning Evans and replacing him with Latapy?

IMO one of the quick fixes we need is to lift the spirits of the squad and the fans, Russell would do that instantly with his personality and reputation amongst the fans, the job Evans has seems to be one with fairly low responsibility so even with Latapys questionable commitment he could still be more beneficial to the squad than evans is who's now had a decent crack of the whip at working with the squad.

I think latapy managed Trinidad and tobago for a short while and he was also a captain of various clubs so is likely to be more of a leader than evans ever was a player.

I know it won't sound like it but i don't want it to sound like i'm jumping on an anti-evans band wagon that seems to be growing but taking the emotion out of it i don't see how we could be any worse off if we were to try this replacement.

I think Latapy has said he's keen to get a managers job in the UK so could be an ideal role for him to start off with.

There's no doubting Latapy's footballing ability, but there's also no doubting his old off field shenanigans.

I would still welcome him at the club to help out as he has tons of expierence, but I wouldn't have him as head coach of the squad.

He would form a bond with the piss-artist elements in the squad immediately.

If Pat Fenlon does decide to bring in a new coach the merits of the suitable candidate being selected on .net are lost on me as I'm sure they will be with Mr Fenlon!

No thanks, just having played well for the club is an irrelevance when considering coaching staff. Same thought process that got us the likes of Evans in the first place.

Not sure that Latapy would make that good a coach tbh. You could tell by the way he played the game that things just came easily to him. Rather than motivate less gifted players, I think he may intimidate them.

You must have watched a different Gareth Evans to me... never a player and must be pinchin himself to be a coach

As for Russ... I mentioned weeks ago that getting him and Franck involved would give the club and supporters a lift... however .... they would have needed a really big name like Strachan in overall charge.

For me I'm now more than happy to let PF do it his way.. got a good feeling about him.

Hope RP let's him do what he has to do.... That is my only worry that ROD won't be able to give up the power

Go on Pat... Keep us in the league and get rid of all the dross

No thank you. Happy when he played for us. Disgusted at the way he treated us. Deserved to be sacked and I still reckon he would have been the difference in us winning that Cup Final.

Another pisswizard at the club? No doubting the man's talent as a player but as a role model and leader?

See what PF makes of it and who he brings in. I'm sure he doesn't need any suggestions from us.

Surely we need a man who is dedicated to fitness and hard work. Someone who will lead by example like.................well maybe like John Collins.

His deft skills at weaving past opposition players could be deployed in getting to the bar in those crowded VIP rooms on nights out...
