The business in court was to dismiss a winding-up order from HMRC, because Hertz paid the £500k in question. The possibility of getting done for tax evasion remains (see the Rangers tax case blog, the stuff about Campbell Ogilvie).

The first team squad still haven't been paid the wages they were due on 16th October - Hertz say they'll get them tomorrow, but then they said the same yesterday. The players are close to asking the SPFA to intervene.

Several high-earners have been told to look for new clubs, they are preparing some kind of DFS Double Discount sale to slash the wage bill.

Romanov seems to be losing interest/patience with Hertz. He does, however, remain madder than a bag of ferrets.

There's quite a strong feeling with some on KB that it's business as usual and that the recent problems will soon blow over. I don't think the players have been paid yet and some have been told that they can look for new clubs but some knuckle-draggers think the players will be afraid to do anything ............ Svengali Vlad has them in his control it seems. Sergio has got out of jail free.
