After a quick count this evening it's looking like around £1300 was collected.
That is 50% more than the collection at the Celtic game last season, a game that had 50% more supporters at it than today's game!
That's entirely down to the generosity of the Hibs (and Aberdeen) supporters and the fantastic effort from all those that volunteered their time to shake a bucket.

I walked up easter road about 20 to 3 and seen a fair few aberdeen fans giving money so fair play to them

Thats a good haul, considering theres a lot of belt tightening going on these days. My 24p contribution was a bit pathetic i suppose....
