Wonder if this is also the opportunity for CC to look at a trialist or two? Or just the chance to give the new players some game time.

I wonder if it's CC's chance to look at Mark De Man and gazump Killie. 80+ matches for Anderlecht is not too shabby.

In August 2011 Scottish Premier League team Kilmarnock F.C. were said to be chasing his signature, along with fellow countrymen Pass de Ball and Score de Goals.

Someone on our forum said that they had heard that both teams wanted to look at Mark de Man and thats why the game was arranged against yous.

Dunno how much sense that makes, surely if we wanted him and knew yous were interested why would we want you to get a better look at him while he was on trial with us?

He could easily have just come and played in a bounce game for Hibs after his trial with Killie, I suppose if we are genuinely interested it gives both clubs a chance to have a look at him now against SPL quality opposition (if Hibs can be described as that at the moment...).

I suppose from Killie fans point of view it might not seem ideal letting a trialist be looked at by a club he could potentially end up at, but might speed up the process whoever he signs for.

Traditionally a number of players, who might otherwise have cost a fee, get freed tomorrow so that they become "free agents" before the window "slams shut".

I think if there is to be an animated gif award then it has to go to SteveHFC. Throughout the year, his gifs have been both timely and topical. And obviously the one of Daffy Duck tugging himself silly is a genuine 2012 highlight.

You can sign free agents after the window slams shut .
