Pioneer cd player - help.

Alright people

I just bought a Pioneer car cd player and every time I turn the engine off, the settings I created seem to restore back to normal.

Anybody any idea how to solve this ?

I'm not technical but you obviously don't have the constant live feed that keeps the memory set we swapped radios over in the van and one did not have this as standard

Could be a power issue. The unit needs a little power to hold on to the settings. Sounds like it's wired to shut down all power to the unit when engine is turned off. Mind you It's a long time since I played with car cd players.
