    World Cup 2011

Anybody watching or interested in the World Cup currently being held here in Germany? - OK it's women's football, but it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be (MCP view) - quite entertaining at times in fact.

France v Canada up next and this evening it's Germany against Nigeria ...

I was at Australia v Brazil in Mönchengladbach last night. It was the worst game of football I've ever been to and I left after an hour. If this world cup was going on at the bottom of my garden, I'd shut the curtains (with apologies to Bill Shankly).

You actually WENT to a game? Mind you it was nice weather yesterday...
didn't see the Brazil game, and I didn't even watch the German one all the way through...

1-0 to France at the moment - HT

... some of the game was quite good, some pretty poor - but it's more entertaining than ploughing through the Calderwood thread
