    Accrington V Stevenage

If anyone is watching this game you will see the pitch. How can such an important fixture for both clubs be played on a pitch like that?

    I saw that earlier on.

Did anyone hear any explanation for how it ended up in that condition?

    Shocking.

If you want a contrast, have a look at the pitch in the Shrewsbury v Torquay game. Fit for the start of the season never mind the end.

It's been like that all season. Worse in fact. Down to the geography of the area more than anything.

How has geography of the area resulted in dark green lines at about five metre centres across the middle section of the pitch?

Can you explain a bit more as I cannot think of a reasonable explanation myself?

There is nowhere for the rain to drain away from the centre of the pitch so it gets rutted when they try to cut the grass. And it rains a hell of a lot in Accrington!
