Your spot-on Malcolm. Miller got pelters from the fans over the way he set his teams out. Usually this was because he persisted with 4-4-2 when many fans wanted to see a more attacking 4-4-3.
I'd love to see us use a a 4-4-3 formation, the extra player could make a huge difference....

I think next season CC will employ either a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 in the majority of games which requires a strong forward to lead the line, run into channels and bring others into play as well as scoring a few goals. Rooney has been doing this for ICT all season and its no surprise that he was top of the list in January and I would think still high on it now.

The fact that Galbraith has signed a new deal and that he has opened talks with Sproule suggests that he wants a lot of pace down either wing. Thornhill, Miller & Wotherspoon are good users of the ball and with Palsson/Scott/Stevenson providing some ball winning in there too suggests that we are on our way to a decent squad.

Remind me the last time we picked up three points in Inverness and Hamilton and St Johnstone?
There - fixed that for you.

So signing Sproule and Galbraith back in the side, will have us looking decent?

I really can't see it, we need some serious improvements to the side in all areas.

I didn't actually say that, I suggested that a new contract for Galbraith and offering a contract to Sproule gives you an idea of his thinking.

Vaz Te has mainly been playing on the right side of a front three and the other strikers that we have confirmed we are interested in are the sort that play in the centre of a front three and can lead the line. Tade in particular is known more for his overall play rather than goal scoring as was Rooney until last year when the goals were added to his game.
