    fitness - cycling

Since my marathon in jersey I have not kept on top of it. So today I went cycling on the bike I got last year. I ended up cycling 30 miles ish. My seat must be poor as my buttocks hurt. How can I stop the pain? Also need to get it serviced, do they fix faults or just look at it and tell you a price? Cheers.

Think the NHS should cover any visit to a proctologist. But if you're insured privately then I'm sure he'll give you an estimate beforehand.

Short term-sit on a bag of peas.
Medium term- spend £30+ on a good gel seat.

Cheers guys. I think I have been ripped off with the bike. If I sit on these peas long enough they might become mushy peas. :-)
